Once the Pandemic started in March of 2020 and the lock down was announced, it was something wired for all of us.

Nobody heard about such a pandemic in the recent past!

The first few days or even a few months, I could say, it was terrific being with our family, simply sitting at home without going anywhere, enjoying different varieties of recipes that were trending on Youtube.

I wish to mention my most favorite, “Dalgona Coffee” a super easy recipe which I enjoyed preparing as well as drinking.

As days progressed, something started pricking us, the news of deaths, hospitals running out of beds, no oxygen, screaming of many innocent people, children losing their parents, young women and men losing their partners, everywhere the deathblow.

Alas! I was grief-stricken. Financial insecurities started, many people lost their jobs, daily wage people and people running their small businesses were severely affected.

Studies of children got affected significantly ,and my mind got stuck!

Slowly, new normalcy had begun towards the end of 2020. The beginning of the year 2021 brought in a new hope for life. People took a deep sigh!

They had become routine, forgot the effects of covid ‘19, and started behaving negligibly and ignorantly despite being warned of a second wave.

Slowly the second wave peeped in during March and April 2021. We were well prepared, stocked up piles of masks and sanitizers, completely stopped eating food outside almost for a year, and especially I was taking extraordinary care and was cautious about not getting infected at any cost.

But unfortunately, I got infected by the so-called deadly coronavirus!

The moment I was tested positive, I lost my hope. Since I heard about the death news of very young and healthy men and women, I was panic-stricken. Many young and middle-aged men who were bodybuilders got prey for this virus.

My mind got blocked with all these thoughts. Initially, I had mild symptoms like fever and headache as typical viral infections.

But as days progressed, it became severe, and I got stuck in bed with severe backache.

I never had experienced such pain before and was unable even to move. Heavy dose medicines were given that made me feel drowsy and feeling down.

But Doctors who were in the form of God gave me motivation, the power to fight against this devilish virus.

After 4 to 5 days, I tried to boost myself with positive thoughts and decided to come out of the pathetic situation.

Finally, I could proudly say that I am a corona warrior.

Lesson Learnt:

With strong willpower and the proper treatment, one can defeat and overcome this corona virus, how deadliest it might be.
