The Best 30 Days Challenge- A Life-Changing Strategy

I graduated in the year 2001 with B.E, in Electrical & Electronics Engg.

Once I completed, I joined as a Lecturer in an Engineering College, as I was passionate about teaching.

Everything went well. I strongly believe in the teaching-learning process and thrive upon improving my skill. I completed my M.E and Ph.D. also.

For the first few years, I was excited about working there. I even felt lucky to work on my passion.

As days passed by, the working culture started going upside down. Day by day, the scope of teachers in Engineering colleges was degrading. Admissions were dull.

We were in a situation to bring in admissions. We went from school to school and convinced the students and their parents to get admissions.

This sort of situation was very disappointing. I was upset and depressed.

The management people started treating the teachers as just paid employees. There is no recognition or respect for your degree.

If you bring in the admissions, you can continue in that job. Many people left their job, and the entire education system got diluted and collapsed. I was in a dilemma.

If I leave the job, I will get a career break.

There is a high possibility that I won’t be able to survive.

At the same time, I don’t want to continue with this job as it gave me very much mental pressure and sucked out all my energy.

Heavy heartedly, I left my job and searched for an alternate solution that could allow me to follow my passion, work at my own pace, and yield respect. I introspected and found I am good at writing also.

I have published many papers in journals and received many awards also. So, I felt I could start my career as a writer. But How?

Many questions were lingering in my mind like,

• Whether I could be a full-time writer?
• Is there scope in the market for writers?
• Can I work at my own pace?
• Will I be given respect?

To my surprise, I found that Content Marketing is one of the booming fields. Content writers are in huge demand for every business.

I got thrilled and blindly applied for the content writer job without even understanding what content writing is all about.

Everywhere I was rejected.

Then, I started collecting information, took some online courses, and studied at my own pace.

Even then, I was lacking in something. At last, I took one funnel away challenge as suggested by one of my friends.

It was a 30 days program conducted by Russel Brunson, an American digital marketing entrepreneur, author, and founder of ClickFunnel, and it is the best of its kind. I have no words to describe the OFA challenge that completely changed my entire life.

During the tenure of the program, those 30 days were very challenging. I built my portfolio, set up my online business, and kick-started my content writing journey.

Now I am free to work at my own pace. Nobody can force me to do things that I am not interested in at all.

I am independent, and I could work for a client from anywhere in the world, sitting in my village. I merely need a laptop and internet. Nobody can prevent me!
